TREES FROM WEST AFRICA by WALE OWOEYE
Our green press baked a cake some time ago that gave us joy
as disciple of climate change – yes, a sweet chocolate cake.
The cake, a book about trees from Africa is entitled TREES
FROM WEST AFRICA written by a lawyer resident on the continent, Wale Owoeye
Esq.
Trees featured in this slim volume includes baobab tree,
mango tree, cocoa tree, mast tree, iroko
tree and many others, profiled with a scientific as well as local lens so that those curious about African forestry
can be enlightened.
It is also specially baked for children in the diaspora to
increase their awareness about black forest and its rare wealth so that they
can add their voice to its preservation.
